Gift for my mom’s 76th Birthday

My mom would soon be turning 77. At that age, she’s still very, very active in her chosen profession almost 40 years ago. She’s a teacher by heart and just love doing her work until today. Being hired as a school principal for 6 years now with a Korean International school, my mom works tirelessly and with passion looking after the teachers and the students’ welfare day in and day out.

As she will be celebrating her 77th birthday, I have something in mind that would surely make a memory worth remembering for her and for all of us. Why not give her mothers rings stackable , made of gold and with a stone on it? Well I believe my two sisters would really agree with this idea, plus of course a thanksgiving party for all the years God has given her to us. God bless you our dearest mom!

Is sleeping 8 hours a day enough?

My brother-in-law who is a physician advised us not only to sleep at least 8 hours a day but also to sleep at the right time at night. “So what’s the right time?” I asked him. “ It must not be longer that Nine O’clock….”

Woooh… I can’t believed him when he said that! That means we go beyond what’s ideal because we oftentimes sleep beyond 11 pm. Nine O’clock is too early , our schedule  can not fit in to that. We usually arrived home from work  after fetching the kids by 7 pm, dinner at 8pm , bonding with kids until 9pm and blogging until 11pm. What’s left for us as a couple if we sleep at 9pm? You tell me….

Still busy as a bee !

Yes… I am still busy as a bee ! Doing things almost round the clock. Even my domestic obligation like helping y kids with their projects and fetching them at school are no longer done. Now, we temporarily let my little girl ride the school bus because I can no longer send her to school and fetch her in the afternoon. My wife complained already of marketing alone. Whew! Can I clone myself? Help!

Almost fainted

I was in a middle of a meeting when my wife called with a distress voice. She was with my daughter at the mall and informed me that my little girl almost fainted and that I need to fetch them right away! Although I was not in panic, but my core group could see something was wrong so they immediately told me go. Actually, it was the first time that my wife to have an emergency like this. Thank God it was Sunday and the road was not busy. Thank God to Watson staff for taking care of my daughter. She was just over-worked and needed time to rest. Yesterday Saturday, she spent whole day practicing with her dance group. Had a little time to sleep last night because we watch DVD movie . Tomorrow, I am planning to let her just stay home and rest.
